What is Chiefora?

Chiefora is meeting follow-up software for teams that need to keep track of what was promised, who owns it, and what happens next. Bring your notes or transcript into a shared workspace, review suggested next steps, and follow commitments through to completion.

A meeting summary tells you what happened. Chiefora gives each reviewed action item an owner, a status, and a deadline when you set one. Decisions, open questions, and risks stay connected to the meeting that produced them, so your team can return to the original context.

How to use Chiefora

Start with one real meeting and work through these steps:

• Create an account and workspace. Invite the people who need to share the follow-up work.
• Import a meeting: paste a transcript or notes, upload a .txt or .md file, or connect Fathom from Integrations and choose a meeting to import.
• Request Chiefora AI analysis, or use the manual review flow. AI suggestions remain drafts until you review them.
• Check each proposed commitment, decision, question, and risk against its source evidence. Edit owners, dates, and wording; exclude suggestions you do not want to save.
• Confirm the reviewed items. Use the dashboard and commitment lists to see owners, due dates, and overdue work. Update statuses as work progresses.
• Return before your next meeting to review unresolved questions and decisions. Use search and the executive brief to find the context you need.

A simple meeting follow-up example

Imagine a launch meeting ends with: ‘Sarah will send the revised launch plan by Friday.’ You import the transcript, review the proposed commitment, confirm Sarah as the owner and Friday as the deadline, and save it.

The plan now has a place in your commitment list. The related meeting and source evidence explain why it exists. If the deadline passes, the overdue view helps you find it; when the work is finished, you mark it done. Any unresolved launch decision can be tracked separately instead of getting buried in the notes. This is an illustrative workflow, not a customer testimonial.

Use Fathom for the conversation and Chiefora for the follow-up

Already use Fathom? Connect your account through Fathom OAuth in Integrations, sync your available meetings, then choose Import & review. Your imported meeting becomes a draft; commitments and decisions are created only after you confirm them.

Your Fathom connection and available meeting list are private to you. Imported meetings are shared with your workspace. Disconnecting removes the local connection and private catalog; imported workspace meetings remain. You can also revoke Chiefora’s authorization in Fathom settings.

Chiefora does not send a bot into your calls or record audio. You can use it with notes and transcripts even without Fathom.

Common questions about Chiefora

Do I need an AI subscription? No personal model subscription or API key is required. Chiefora AI manages analysis; manual import and tracking are also available. Review AI output before relying on it.

Is Chiefora free? The current beta is free, with service limits. The homepage describes the current offer. Future paid plans, if introduced, will have their own pricing and terms.

Does it replace my project management tool? Chiefora focuses on commitments and decisions that come out of meetings. It does not currently provide a general project-planning suite or automatically send tasks to other project tools.
